Creating a zip file to contain multiple photos

You can zip files in the Windows and Macintosh operating systems.

To zip a folder of photos in Windows 2000 and XP

1.

Navigate to and locate a folder of photos, then right click the folder.

2.

From the pop-up menu, select Send To>Compressed (zipped) folder.

3.

A folder with the same name as the one you selected but with a *.zip file extension appears adjacent to the folder of photos. This is the zip folder you will upload to your blog.

To zip a folder of photos in Mac OS X

1.

Navigate to and locate a folder of photos, then control-click the folder (right-click if you have a two button mouse).

2.

From the pop menu, select Create Archive of "x", where x is the name of the item you have selected.

3.

A folder with the same name as the one you selected but with a *.zip file extension appears adjacent to the folder of photos. This is the zip folder you will upload to your blog.
