Rich-Text Editor

The Rich-Text Editor setting allows readers to choose a rich-text editor or a simple plain-text editor while entering the body text of posts.

To enable or disable the rich text editor:

1.

Click the Settings & Security tab.

2.

Click Publishing Defaults in the Options list.

3.

Click Advanced.

4.

Scroll down to Rich-Text Editor.

5.

Click the Enable rich-text editor checkbox.

6.

Click the Save Settings button at the bottom of the page.

Note: The Enable rich-text editor checkbox must be cleared if the reader's system does not support a rich text file format (for example, using Internet Explorer 5.2 with a Macintosh operating system). Articles may still be created and posted in plain text.
