Enabling auto-discovery for remote trackback pings

If auto-discovery for remote trackback pings is enabled when you post an entry, the system automatically searches your post for links to other blog entries. If any links are found, the system searches for each link's trackback URL and "pings" it that is, it sends a message to that URL containing information about your blog and entry.

Click the Settings and Security tab. The Publishing Defaults page opens.

Click the Posts link. The Posting Defaults page opens.

3.

Click the Use auto-discovery for remote trackback pings checkbox.

4.

Click the Save Settings button at the bottom of the page.
